High School Physics with Lab
The course will be taught from end of October through the end of quarter 3 (mid-March) and will meet for two hours, twice a week. We will cover all topics taught in the Physics 1 curriculum for high school students, including Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Thermodynamics, Light, Sound, and Nuclear. There will be labs and demonstrations. Students will be expected to maintain a notebook for observations, class notes, and lab analysis. Homework will be assigned. There will be two tests per quarter.

Prerequisite: Algebra 1 knowledge enough to solve simple algebraic equations
