Improv and Communications
Keely Kirk, Chief Improviser at Playing Outside the Lines, develops and delivers fun, fast-paced, interactive training and unforgettable events using theater improvisation techniques. She has provided team building workshops for various businesses, government agencies, law firms, accounting firms, schools, as well as Fortune 500 companies.
She began her improv career, training with Mental Floss, a Miami-based improv/sketch troupe. She went on to be a principle performer for over ten years with Laughing Gas Comedy Improv – Miami’s longest- running improv theater company.
Keely relocated to the epicenter for improv – the windy city, Chicago, and trained with iO (formerly Improv Olympics) and Second City.
Since 2010, Keely has taught, developed and marketed an improv curriculum at The Little Theatre of Alexandria.
In addition to teaching and training Keely also performs with various improv groups around the country.
